Tanks Technology Guide

Welcome to the Tanks Focus Area (TFA) Tanks Technology Guide (TTG) website. The Tanks Technology Guide (TTG) is a virtual database of information related to the remediation of radioactive wastes from underground storage tanks throughout the DOE complex. The goal is to provide the user with easy access to this information, and to provide an electronic display (bibliographic information) and download capabilities of the complete document, where available. The information in the TTG database is categorized by the various tank waste remediation functions: Characterization, Closure, Immobilization, Pretreatment, Retrieval, Safety, and Other ("other" includes programmatic or other information not directly tied to a specific tank remediation function). These topics can be queried individually or as a group by searching or browsing.

Brief descriptions of each of the various tank waste remediation functions, or "Technology Areas", are provided in the following links, including a current reference listing of the documents received to date in that area.
